Chuseok is Korea's harvest thanksgiving — a day for family, gratitude, and coming home. In October 2025, Jersey City made history with one of the first official Korean Chuseok Festivals ever held inside a U.S. city government building: a plaza alive with hanbok, music, and Korean food, and a ceremony in the Council Chambers where the Mayor read a proclamation and six Korean-American leaders received City Certificates of Honor.
On Saturday, October 17, 2026, it returns — bigger, free, and open to everyone. An all-day festival on City Hall Plaza, and a formal indoor ceremony under the theme “Honoring Our Heritage, Inspiring Our Future.” Take a look at how last year came together, then find your place in 2026 as a vendor, sponsor, or supporter.

Is the festival free to attend?
Yes. Chuseok K-Fest is free and open to the public. Fees apply only to vendors and sponsors.
Can I be both a sponsor and a vendor?
Yes. Select both on the application. Culture Partner and above already includes a booth.
How is payment made?
Payment instructions are provided by KCED Foundation once your application is accepted. For $2,500 and above, select "Please send me an invoice" on the application.
Are there requirements for food vendors?
Yes, but we make it simple: health-department documentation for food vendors is handled in advance by KCED. Note that you are selling food on the application.
What is the refund policy?
Booth and sponsorship payments are non-refundable, as space and materials are committed in advance. The festival takes place rain or shine. If the organizer cancels the event, all fees are refunded in full.
